Blendabilities discontinued

Blendabilities Product Line Has Been Discontinued

Blendabilities Product Line Has Been Discontinued

Last week, Stampin' Up! announced Blendabilities were not able to be ordered while they investigated a quality issue that had resulted in the return of an increasing number of sets of the markers due to drying out.

In a further update this week, due to the nature of the defect, Stampin' Up!  have concluded that difficulties, dissatisfaction and product returns will only become more widespread.

The manufacturer is unable to correct the problem in a manner that Stampin' Up! are certain would meet their high quality standards and provide them with a stable, long-term solution.

Therefore, after a great deal of deliberation and in order to prevent further disappointment, the Blendabilities product line has been discontinued.

Questions?

Q: Will the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad (item #132708) and the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad Refill (item #133456) still be available for purchase?
A: Yes. Memento is a wonderful ink!

Q: What are the quality problems with this product?
A: When the tip is welded to the barrel, the welding process can leave microscopic (invisible) holes in the marker tip. This leads to accelerated evaporation of the alcohol in the ink.

Q: Are all Blendabilities markers defective?
A: No. Most Blendabilities markers work as intended. I  never personally experienced a problem with any of them, and neither have I been alerted to any issues that my customers have had.

Q: What if I have purchased Blendabilities Markers that are defective?
A: If you purchased your markers through me, please contact me for assistance. If your markers were purchased through another demonstrator, you will need to contact them.

Sale-a-bration - more items!

Since Blendabilities are no longer available as a Sale-A-Bration redemption item, Stampin' Up! anticipate that the demand on other Sale-A-Bration items will be higher than forecasted. For that reason, all Sale-A-Bration items (with the exception of stamps) will be available "while supplies last." To help alleviate any inconvenience this may cause, we've made more items available to redeem for free during these last few weeks of Sale-A-Bration.

Wedding Flowers

Well......

It's been ages since I've shared my own projects!  I'm always sharing project ideas I find on Pinterest over on my Facebook page, but never find the time to share mine!

So I have a backlog of projects to share!  The first being a wedding card I made for my brother and his wife last year.  Yep, that's how long we're talking!!

I had been totally inspired by a beautiful card I received from a lovely friend.  It was so pretty and I thought a perfect idea for a wedding card!

So I changed up the colours, well changed them all to Gold.  I stamped in Gold and then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  No way was I missing the gold!!  I used the Petite Petals stamp set and punched them out with the coordinating punch.  I love that!

I arranged my little flowers into a heart design and used lots of glue dots to hold them down.  I stamped a sentiment and added some Gold bakers twine.  The gold is so luxurious and looked perfect on the background of Crumb Cake!

I used Very Vanilla for my flowers and card base.  Very Vanilla goes beautifully with Crumb Cake and the gold was a perfect touch for a match made in heaven, pardon the pun!!

This is the card that gave me so much inspiration from my friend Sandy.  Just gorgeous!

xx
