Loyalty Gifts!

Everyone loves gifts and freebies.  I sure do, so when Stampin' Up! have a month of freebies (free ribbon), well you just have to love it!!  So, it's been a busy month of orders around here with lots of my lovely friends and customers taking advantage of the Spool Time ribbon offer!

So, it often comes as a surprise to my customers how quickly they earn themselves loyalty points!  Loyalty points you ask, yep!  Stamp with Me Loyalty Points!!  For all the details, check out my Stamp with Me Loyalty Club page.  So this month, there have been quite a few of the gorgeous little bottles of Dazzling Details heading to a new home.  But of course, they need to be presented a little bit better, then just as they are!!  So what more perfect, then to get out the Big Shot!

Aren't these just the cutest?  Inspired by a swap I received earlier this year at the Stampin' Up! convention, I too used the Take a Sip roller wheel and coloured in with my markers.  Wouldn't you love one of these!

The hardest part for me was folding all the ends ;).  I have used all the recently retired colours of Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz.  I will miss these colours but it was the perfect project to use up my stash!!

More SU Creativity

So yesterday I found the website, SU Creativity.  Click on this link for yesterday's post!  I also found a project to make the most gorgeous paper flowers, ever.  Seriously!!

Have a look at these flowers, aren't they just stunning!!

So head on over to SU Creativity and you'll be able to download the instructions to make these gorgeous ornaments too!

SU Creativity

Do you subscribe to blogs, websites?  I do, to lots actually.  One of those is Martha Stewart.  I love her show, I love her books (I have just a few.....), I love her magazines, I love her recipes and I love the crafty ideas she shares daily.  So it was to my huge surprise that in one of the emails there was a little caption about Stampin' Up!, which when I click on it took me to a new website - SU Creativity.  Curious!

And guess what?  When I clicked on Fun Ideas, it took me to a page with three beautiful projects including this paper ornament using the new Ornament Keepsakes stamps.

So head on over to SU Creativity and you'll be able to download the instructions to make these gorgeous ornaments too!

With Sympathy

It's never easy to make sympathy cards.  Especially for someone close.  Last week my sister's MIL passed away.  While we were able to express our sorrows to my sister and her family, it also felt right to send a card too.

I wanted a card that wasn't fussy, simple but elegant.  I turned to my old trusty (and long retired) Close as a Memory for the sentiments and the Fabulous Floret set for the flowers.

I first stamped the flowers with Raspberry Ripple and Old Olive onto the cardstock, and then made masks with some post-it notes (just over the flowers only).  I then stamped the French Script background stamp over the flowers and did a lot of sponging with Old Olive.

I found some coordinating ribbon and the card was complete!

Here's what I used:
Stamps: Fabulous Florets, French Script & Close as a Memory
Inks: Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive & Early Espresso
Papers: Whisper White & Old Olive
Other: Sponges, ribbon, post-it notes

Make a Wreath!

It's Spring time now (although I sometimes wonder if the weather actually knows that), so I just want to fill the house with happy, sun-shiney & fragrant flowers.  I don't always have flowers (our garden isn't quite ready for that), so in the meantime, I found this fun project from Stampin' Up! that might just be the Spring project for me!!

The summer-bright Floral District Designer Fabric is perfect for sunny projects like this adorable fabric wreath. The designers from Stampin' Up! used the Big Shot, the Flower Folds Bigz XL Die, and the Circles #2 Originals Die to make our fresh and fun flowers.

So here's all the supplies you need to make a wreath too:

Inks:  Rich Razzleberry Ink Refill
Ribbons: Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, White Bakers Twine
Fabrics: Floral District Designer Fabric
Other: Designer Buttons - Brights Collection, Wreath, Burlap
Big Shot: Flower Folds Bigz XL die, Circles #2 Originals Die

Some thank-yous

Do you ever feel the need to say thankyou?  I do, all the time.  Like when I am spoilt by my friends on birthdays and other occasions.  If it's a thankyou for just one person, I try to make a unique card.  If it's for a group of friends, well it's time to make a stack of cards.  Just like these!

These cards were from a retired pack of Simply Sent cards that I had lying around.  I love these cards packs.  All I did was stamp the greeting, add the bling and tie a bow!!

Oh and write the stuff in the inside!!  Do you feel like making simple cards?  Are you new to stamping and cardmaking?  These card styles are just the perfect place to start.  Contact me and let me show you how!!

Paper Bows

Ever wanted to tie those gorgeous bows to make your gifts look swish???  Well, guess what!  Stampin' Up! has brought the instructions to you!!

Aren't they the cutest?  For full instructions, click on this link for the SU instructions!

The Reveal!!

After promising on Sunday to show you the cards from the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack, well I thought I had just better do so!!

I designed a class assuming that I would have at least 2-3 persons attend.  I smile at that now, as there were over 16 guests.  Ten of them mine!!  So I needed cards that could use different sets of stamps.

And you know me.  I love Pinterest.  So using Pinterest for my inspiration, we made these cards:

These cards used the new stamp sets and are so cute!  The little Christmas images are from the Scentsational Season stamp set and cut with the coordinating dies.  I've also used Greetings of the Seasons for the sentiments.

These cards were inspired by Meg Holland
These cards used the new Ornament Keepsakes stamp set with the matching dies for easy cutting!!  I love how elegant these cards are, with just one ornament for focal detail.  I've also used the Creative Elements stamp set in the first card.  I like how you can use non-Christmas cards for Christmas cards!!

These cards were inspired by Heather D Heroldt I found on Stampin' Connection

The final set of cards uses the Evergreen stamp set.  This set is just beautiful and I look forward to trying more combinations and designs of this one!

I don't recall the insinspiration for these cards.  I'll update if I do!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards we made.  I know the cards were well liked by all our guests who attended the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack.  Apologies for my poor quality photos.  I'm not sure what's happening with my camera.  It just won't focus properly.  Can camera's be serviced I wonder?

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

Today I held my first ever true Christmas Stamp-a-Stack.  And what a day it was, a stack of fun and a stack of stamping!!  It was a full house at Nellie Hall with 18 ladies in total.   We had a yummy afternoon tea and all the ladies gave me such wonderful feedback, it really made my day.

I can make up some more kits too if you're interested, as a Stamp at Home kit.  Just let me know on my mobile phone 0417 165345 or by email.  Kits can be varied to your requirements too :)

A Christmas card for you
